A FEW FROM A LOT....

Indeed selecting 100 out of 140million plus Nigerians is no easy feat. Cos we have so many outstanding individuals who have contributed immensely to the growth of our dear Nation Nigeria. From the inventors to the sportsmen to the elder statesmen, religious leaders, entertainers, captains of industries you just name it. Our country boasts of the first ever Miss World of African birth, the richest black man, a Nobel Prize winner just to mention a few. We've had Nigerians who have stood out in the strive for a brighter future both living and late, the likes of Tafawa Balewa, Awolowo, Gani Fawehinmi, Ojukwu, Ken Saro Wiwa, Fela Anikulapokuti etc.

It becomes immensely difficult since we're just selecting one personality per language, hence we would be collecting the signature of the most accessible of the outstanding personalities from each shortlisted language, and however we would try as much as we possibly can to honor outstanding personalities through this platform. We would appreciate your assistance even as we compile this list, just simply leave your comments with personalities you’ll love to see sign on behalf of your language or drop information of outstanding Nigerians you know and their contributions...

A REASON TO CELEBRATE...

Growing up i always had the belief that Nigeria only had 3 native languages; Ibo, Hausa and Yoruba. But who can blame an ignorant young me, as far as my little brain could comprehend that was it. Interestingly as my quest for knowledge broadened i came to a new found realisation that we had so many languages in Nigeria which i wouldn't be able to exhaust in a year if i spoke a different language each day. A trip to other parts of the country  also revealed that a street could contain as many as 5 families speaking 5 entirely unique languages. This impressive diversity gives me a renewed sense of joy as a nigerian that despite our great differences we've  still managed to stick together as one nation. Truly i believe and can boldly say that "The diversity of our nation is the beauty of it's perfection". 
I mean back then when my imagination was allowed to run wild i used to imagine the Nigerian super eagles playing a football match and openly communicating in urhobho or in ibibio, make i see the oyimbo wey wan hear wetin dem dey yarn na... *lol*
But seriously we are indeed a united and blessed nation, one that thus far has survived challenges that ought to have dissolved its very existence.
My fellow Nigerians (in ibb's voice)... we do have a lot to be thankful for, we have something worth celebrating. And it's This marriage of cultures, This marriage of languages, This union of tribes called NIGERIA!!! 
Congratulations my brothers and sisters, raise your heads up high. E no easy abeg... (if e easy point one couple wey you know wey no gree celebrate their 50 years wedding anniversary say because of say them quarrel last night. #Oh oh, are you are).
